To switch them, use the hotkey while holding any mystic item. Potentia is a new mechanic system that appears while holding a mystic weapon. Examples of weapons that can function are Mystic Swords, which still swing even if they run out of Potentia, and Mystic Ranged weapons, which will consume ammo upon running out of Mystica and shoot them like a normal ranged weapon (but with Mystic damage). However, some are still able to function in Mystics Mode beyond firing a projectile. When a Potentia runs out on a weapon, most weapons just stop being able to create projectiles. Its projectiles can pierce twice, hitting up to 3 enemies, and applying a 15% damage penalty to the next hit for each enemy a projectile pierces. It will fire ice pellets at enemies within 60 tiles, inflicting the Frostbite debuff. The Frost Hydra will automatically angle its head up and down, and turn left and right, to target enemies in any direction.
